this damned thing has been preying on my mind ever since I found it. Without even making words to that effect — which is to say, in the preverbal limbic brain stemmy primitive part of my mind — I have been planning to Do Something inspired by this. I don’t know what yet. I just know i went yesterday to the drug store for some temporary filling material and walked out with a $3.99 tripod to keep my Flip video camera steady between the stop-action shots.
